Nos encanta arrancar el año con la temporada de premios, es el momento perfecto para recordar todo lo que vimos en el 2022 mientras tenemos algo de margen de maniobra para ver lo que nos quedó en el tintero y que no queremos dejar escapar para poder hablar largo y tendido cuando el día 12 de marzo se entreguen las estatuillas más codiciadas dentro de la industria cinematográfica.
Pero antes de empezar. ¿Cómo se eligen los nominados y nominadas? ¿Quién los vota?
Los miembros de la academia de cada una de las 17 ramas votan para determinar los nominados/as en sus respectivas categorías, es decir, los actores nominan a los actores, los editores de películas nominan a los editores de películas, etc. A un mismo tiempo, todos los miembros votantes son elegibles para seleccionar a los nominados a Mejor Película. Este año, la Academia ha contado con su mayor participación de votantes en la historia de la organización, con miembros que enviaron sus votos desde 80 países distintos.
